I like to hike with my dogs, be lazy with my cat, play video games and cook. I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona where I spent the first 20 years of my life.

Joining the Marine Biochem Research Lab has given me the opportunity to expand my interests into corals and jellyfish, one of my favorite things to do in the lab is watch the jellyfish, and my research centers around them.

I have always been passionate about environmental change and mitigating the effects of climate change, and this lab gives me the opportunity to do research that can spark my interests as well as lead to solutions to the crisis that the globe is facing.
